Data Collection / CNC

Turn machine tool status into usable data

Compatible with FANUC, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Heidenhain, FANUC-compatible systems, etc., to establish unified models for equipment identity, status, and processing data.

Collected Data

Equipment & Status

Device ID, device name, asset number, equipment type, CNC type, serial number, version, number of axes, number of spindles, operating mode, and status.

Position & Processing

Axis names, machine coordinates, absolute coordinates, relative coordinates, remaining coordinates, current program, main program, current step, and NC status.

Efficiency & Alarms

Power-on time, running time, cutting time, cycle seconds, part count, spindle load, feed rate override, alarm number, and alarm message.

Compatibility & Integration Strategy

  • Prefer getting structured data through CNC system open interfaces
  • Adapt interfaces like network port, serial port, PCMCIA, MPI, DNC according to field conditions
  • Configure extended fields like spindle temperature, load, tools, and coordinates by model
  • Uniformly map four basic states: running, standby, offline, and alarm

What can you do after data collection

  • See equipment status and ongoing tasks in real time
  • Track output and cycle times by program, workpiece, and equipment
  • Monitor alarms, downtime, and anomaly recovery processes
  • Provide data for OEE, MOM, MES, and maintenance analysis
